was given a link to monogrammed toys. so using what I had around me , I made DGD a Easter Bunny as an experiment. Using a scraps from the Christmas stockings and the insides of an old duvet.

ramping up the Creativity

today is my Mums birthday. At 78 she never wants me to spend money on gifts, so I have made her a cover for her tablet.

Ring Pillow

The experimenting done, a Pluto, a rose and then a butterfly.
Once I had a handle on the machine it was time to create. I made this ring pillow for my friend Marie who is getting married in April.
The Butterfly has been made on a separate piece of fabric, cut out and then stitched in the centre to give a 3d effect .
The names were stitched onto the ribbon, then hand stitched onto the pillow.

New Addition to the Family

This week saw the arrival of my newest addition to the sewing machines. A brother PE180d.  I bought this little beauty with my Mooloo funds, saved through out the last 9 months since the launch of my Mooloo Buisness.
I an so excited that I can now take my work up to the next level.

Fashion Fix

Today I walked around Oxford looking at the sales etc. but I came home with a £1 diary from pound land. But I did see this dress in Apricot, very much on a par with my recent sewing ideas.
I am thinking that I can do this?
At £34 in the shops I am going to have to try.
